Popular with Gen Z – Kronehit spice up everyday school life

Date:

Kronehit, Austria’s largest private radio station, has developed a unique concept that particularly appeals to Generation Z. It allows school students from all over Austria to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the radio station, put together their own radio program and even experience a school day at the Allianz Stadium.

The innovative program includes projects such as “Kronehit@school”, “Kronehit and Rapid do school” and “Kronehit after-school care”. Each initiative aims to give students an insight into the world of radio and provide them with a platform to make their voices heard. Through these projects and offers, Krone has become the number 1 for Austrian schoolchildren.

Students design Kronehit
In interactive workshops by “Kronehit @ school”, school classes immerse themselves in the world of radio and learn how a radio station works. They also have the opportunity to try themselves as a moderator or DJ. These free workshops are aimed at children ages 12 to 18 and are offered in schools or online.

Hand in hand with the Rapidstars
Through the collaboration with SK Rapid in “Kronehit en Rapid do school”, the students can spend an entire school day in the Allianz Stadium. Here they can learn history in the Rapideum, improve German through interviews with their favorite Rapidlers and play a training game with the Rapidstars at the end of the day.
