What did Kiev know? – Russian neo-Nazi wants to attack Russia again

Date:

The attacks on targets in the Russian border region of Belgorod by the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) caused horror and international sensation in Russia. The militia, led by neo-Nazi Denis Kapustin, has announced further attacks. Kiev rejects any involvement in the events – but takes advantage of it.

According to official Ukrainian information, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion of Freedom of Russia, which was also involved in the raid, acted alone. Both are against the government in Moscow.Denis Kapustin, aka Denis Nikitin, told CNN that any surgery is “our own decision.” However, he admitted that there was “encouragement and help” from the Ukrainian side.

He has announced new developments: “I think you’ll see us again on the other side,” Kapustin told reporters on the Ukrainian side of the border on Wednesday. The fighters posed for the photographers with flags and staged a captured Russian armored vehicle.

“Getting Warm Again”
“There’s going to be a place where it gets hot again,” said the erratic. “I can’t reveal the things to come, I can’t even reveal the direction,” said the Russian. The Russian-Ukrainian border is quite long. Kapustin calls himself “White Rex”, which is also the name of a Russian neo-Nazi network and clothing brand he founded. T-shirts with fascist symbols are available in the White Rex online shop.

According to experts, it is unlikely that the Ukrainian government did not support the anti-Putin militants. In the end, they attacked from Ukrainian soil and were well equipped. In addition, Ukraine’s military intelligence has confirmed that it is working closely with the two groups, Russia expert Gerhard Mangott wrote on Twitter.

American vehicles in action
The deployment of at least three American military vehicles, which were used in the previous attacks, according to the New York Times, is also difficult. Two of these vehicles, known as “MRAP” (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected), have been seized by the Russian side, the newspaper reported. The US had made several hundred of these vehicles available to the Ukrainian army.

How did the Russian disturbances get their hands on the MRAP vehicles? The spokesman for Russia’s Legion of Freedom, nicknamed “Caesar,” told CNN the vehicles had been purchased “in international arms stores.”

The US government is not happy that the vehicles used in the attack were donated to Ukraine by the US. “We have made it absolutely clear that we do not support the use of US-made equipment to attack Russia,” National Security Adviser John Kirby said while investigating such reports.

Want to distract Ukraine?
There are indications that Ukraine supported the attacks in Belgorod. What is the government in Kiev delivering? According to historian Sergey Radchenko, who studies the war closely, Ukraine is likely to sow panic in Russia’s border regions and divert attention from other operations. According to him, the attacks also feed the Russian narrative, according to which Russia’s very existence is threatened and must therefore go to war.
