The fact that a 57-year-old driver developed health problems while driving led to a traffic accident in Telfs (Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land) on Tuesday afternoon. Three people, including an eight-year-old, were injured.
The 57-year-old resident drove south on the B171 at around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Directly in front of her was another Austrian (38) with her eight-year-old daughter in the passenger seat facing the same direction. According to the police, the 57-year-old developed health problems while driving, after which she collided with the 38-year-old’s car. The collision deployed both front airbags of the vehicle in front.
Mother and daughter were injured in the accident, as was the elderly woman in the other car. The rescue took all three to the district hospital in Hall in Tirol. Police said significant damage was caused to both vehicles.
