A moment of shock for a 49-year-old resident who crashed his motorcycle in St. Ulrich am Pillersee on Friday afternoon. He lost control of the wheel and then slid over the sidewalk and bike path into the water.
The man was on his motorcycle on Pillerseestraße from Waidring towards St. Ulrich at around 6:15 p.m. There he probably lost control of his bike on the sodden road in a left turn and fell.
The man slipped into the water
As his motorcycle came to a stop on the pedestrian or bike path next to the lake, the 49-year-old slipped a little further and finally slid into the lake. In this accident, he suffered not only serious injuries, but also hypothermia. After first aid, he was admitted to the hospital of St. Johann in Tirol.
