At the meeting of the Ertzaintza negotiating table, they will analyze the proposal that includes 37 measures to improve the working conditions of the ertzainas. However, the unions have made sure that it offers no news.
This Friday, the Ertzaintza Negotiation Table will meet with the participation of the trade unions ErNE, ESAN, Euspel and SiPE and the Ministry of Security of the Basque Government. The meeting will take place from 09:30 at the headquarters of Ertzaintza Erandio.
At the meeting, they will analyze the latest proposal from the Ministry of Security that includes 37 measures of “concrete improvements” in the working conditions of the Ertzaintza for an amount of about 18 million euros.
ErNE, ESAN, SIPE, EUSPEL, for their part, will submit a document agreed with the ‘Ertzainas and Lucha’ collective to demand the renewal of the Ertzaintza regulatory agreement.
However, Ertzaintza’s trade unions have rejected the Basque government’s proposal as they see no new developments. The spokesman for the trade union action unit Ertzaintza denounced this week that the Basque government’s proposal “is not new” and “had already been presented before, not only at the last” negotiating tables, “but that it comes from the year 2019″ and ” has expired”.
