A serious accident occurred in Göfis (Vorarlberg) on Saturday. A drunk driver crashed into an oncoming car. A collision occurred.
At around 7:40 p.m. on Saturday, a 41-year-old driver drove his vehicle on Römerstraße (L65) from Frastanz towards Göfis.
In the curve area of the Illbrücke, the driver entered the oncoming lane with his car and collided head-on with an oncoming car driven by a 29-year-old.
Both drivers sustained undetermined injuries and were taken to Feldkirch State Hospital. Both cars involved in the accident were destroyed. Both vehicles were seized at the request of the public prosecutor. An expert is called in to record the accident. The 41-year-old was heavily intoxicated at the time of the accident.
