Two Italians, a 36-year-old and a 62-year-old, had forced a 52-year-old compatriot to give them more than 10,000 euros on Saturday evening at Casino Seefeld. The two allegedly threatened the man with violence against him and his children.
The Italian ignored the threats and went to his hotel with a casino employee. There, the two men wanted to attack the 52-year-old with a wooden slat, but he and his companion managed to escape and alerted the police.
Now that the whereabouts of the suspects have been established, the 36-year-old and the 62-year-old have been arrested at their Seefeld residence. They have been in Innsbruck prison since Sunday
