Another major night operation in Upper Austria: a recycling company burned down in Hörsching. Ten fire brigades were busy extinguishing the fire on Thursday evening.
First the good news: According to the state fire department’s order, there were no injuries. The alarm went off just after 01:00 on Thursday night: a large company fire in Linz-Hörsching. Ten fire brigades attended the scene. Alarm level 2!

The waste company’s bulky waste may have caught fire. The fire was under control around 4 a.m., the command of the national fire brigade reports. On Thursday morning, four of the initially ten fire brigades were still working on the company site.
Flughafenstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse were initially difficult to access due to the firefighting work.
