If you already drive alongside the police without a driver’s license, you probably have to behave inconspicuously. Two Innviertlers (Upper Austria) did exactly the opposite and thus attracted the attention of the management. But then it got really weird.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, several police officers were at the Aspach/Wildenau state firefighter’s match to investigate a physical injury. But then two motorcyclists caught her attention. Suddenly two motorcycles zigzagged past the crowd, ignoring a driving ban and barriers.
Escape the police
The first motorcyclist, a 20-year-old from the Braunau district, ignored a police officer’s stop signal and fled from a possible check. No wonder: the license plate of the motorcycle had been removed. To prevent this from happening to the second motorcyclist, a 21-year-old from the Braunau district, a police officer stood in front of his suspected route, forcing the 21-year-old to stop. He also had the license plate removed from the motorcycle.
Search through social media
He stated he did not know the first motorcyclist, but after a quick search on social media, officials were able to identify the 20-year-old. The 21-year-old then called him and he came back.
But that wasn’t the end yet. Both drivers were not in possession of a valid driver’s license for the motorcycles they were riding. In addition, various defects and modifications to the engines were found. The two motorcyclists expect a total of 13 reports from the BH Braunau.
