Big things are happening in Klösterle right now. Those who are out and about nowadays occasionally come across countless men with full beards. Many also wear long hair. But the whole thing has nothing to do with a new trend, but with the Passion Play, which will take place in the Klostertal until August 5th.
Oswald Wachter grew his hair and beard out for nearly a year to do justice to his role on the outside. He has embodied Jesus since the very first performance in 2003, and has now also taken on the role of director. His friend and colleague Klaus Kühlechner has been involved in the performances since 2007 and was appointed director of the passion play Klostertal-Arlberg in 2018.
