A good deed ended in hospital for an 83-year-old from the Gmunden district on Monday. The man fell off the roof of a deer feeding station he was trying to repair. His daughter and son-in-law found him lying on the ground three hours later, badly injured.
The 83-year-old left for a game feeding station around 4 p.m. Monday to repair the roof. About fifteen minutes later, the senior fell about ten feet off the roof, seriously injuring him.

After he was still not home at 7 p.m., his daughter and son-in-law left in search of the 83-year-old. They found him lying on the bow next to the deer that were feeding and immediately alerted rescue. The senior endured injuries for about three hours.
With a rescue helicopter to the hospital
After first aid, the rescue helicopter flew the 83-year-old to the hospital in Bad Ischl.
