Early on Wednesday morning, the professional fire brigade of Klagenfurt had to respond to three fires in rubbish containers. According to initial investigations, the crimes were committed intentionally.
Between 4:30 a.m. and 5:20 a.m., there were a total of three garbage container fires in the city of Klagenfurt. No sooner had the fire in the first two containers been extinguished than the professional fire brigade of Klagenfurt had to go to Hubertusstraße for another job.
“The metal container that was there was probably set on fire with an accelerant and partially burned out,” says a police officer. The amount of damage suffered has not yet been determined. The investigation into the perpetrators is still ongoing.
