At around 6:30 p.m., the 75-year-old retiree parked the tractor he was previously driving on the sloping driveway to his residence’s stable building and then went behind the vehicle. Due to unknown circumstances, the vehicle immediately started to reverse and hit the man with the attached manure crane near his right lower leg.
Could drag himself to the house
The 75-year-old man suffered a severe arterial laceration. He was able to drag himself to the house next door and call his wife, who immediately set off the rescue chain. After first aid from an emergency doctor, the seriously injured person was taken by ambulance to the accident hospital in Klagenfurt.
