Eating bars instead of chopsticks – the delivery of the Zechpreller couple, who allegedly hit a sushi landlady (41) in Linzer Landstrasse on August 9 and endangered their lives, is being delivered piece by piece. The Croats have already authorized extradition, but the Slovenians have yet to be questioned about the transit.
The 16-year-old from Graz and her boyfriend, who was a year older, had taken a ride in the girl’s mother’s car. In Linz, they went to an Asian restaurant, but did not want to pay the bill of 50 euros, they wanted to run away. The owner and an employee noticed this and followed the two drunks on foot. A few feet from the bar, the couple got into a car. The boss wanted to prevent the duo from driving away when the driver pressed the accelerator and drove over the landlady with both tires on the right side of the vehicle. The perpetrators left the seriously injured woman on the street.
A few days later, the very young “Bonnie & Clyde” blend was arrested 650 kilometers from Linz at a gas station near Zadar (Croatia) and has been held there ever since.
“Our request for extradition was granted surprisingly quickly by the Croatian authorities,” said Hansjörg Bacher, spokesman for the Graz prosecutor’s office. However, we assume that this will also happen soon and expect that the two suspected youths will be with us in Graz by the end of this month at the latest. Then we’ll see.”
