The Romanian, who has lived in Austria for a long time, and her boyfriend decided on Saturday to leave their accommodation in the north of the island of Koh Samui and visit the famous “Na Mueang” waterfalls. After the couple took a relaxing bath at dizzying heights in a natural “pool” on one of the ledges, the 23-year-old wanted to capture the view photographically.
Wiener tried to resuscitate girlfriend
This led to a fatal misstep: the holidaymaker slipped on a wet rock, lost her balance and fell several meters in front of her boyfriend. The Viennese, 22, immediately climbed to the ledge below and desperately tried to rekindle his lifeless love at school. Without success.
Emergency services, alerted by tourists, were only able to save the woman, who suffered serious head injuries.
