A serious accident took place in Vienna-Floridsdorf on Tuesday evening, in which a nine-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car. He is in mortal danger.
The nine-year-old wanted to cross the intersection in Bubergasse around 7:30 p.m. when suddenly the 21-year-old motorist came from Herzmanovsky-Orlando-Gasse towards Alpiltoweweg.
The boy is in the trauma room
Shortly afterwards, the tragic collision with the nine-year-old pedestrian took place. Observant witnesses immediately alerted the emergency services. The professional rescue service from Vienna was on site with several teams and provided emergency medical assistance.
They then took the boy to a hospital shock room. Further information is not yet known. The investigations are still ongoing.
