A three-year-old boy has been bitten to death by a dog in the English town of Rochdale, near Manchester. The toddler was taken by ambulance to a hospital, but only the death of the child could be determined there.
“We understand that this little boy has sadly succumbed to his injuries sustained in an attack by a dog,” said State Police Superintendent Jamie Daniels.
Deadly dog attacks on young children continue to make headlines in the UK. In late March, a two-year-old boy died of dog bites near the city of Worcester in central England. A week earlier, a 17-month-old girl was killed by her family’s dog near Liverpool.
