Julian Hessenthaler, whose Ibiza video with Heinz-Christian Strache and Johann Gudenus (both former FPÖ) shocked the republic, is bankrupt.
According to credit protection associations, a debt settlement procedure has been published regarding Julian Hessenthaler’s assets. According to the Alpine Creditors Association (AKV), he stated that some procedures involved significant costs that he could no longer cover due to his time in prison.
According to KSV1870, Hessenthaler takes on a total amount of approximately 207,000 euros in his application. From his point of view, according to the KSV, eleven creditors are affected by the bankruptcy.

Hessenthaler, who was initially released in March with an ankle monitor and was released early on April 7, only admitted in April that he was “disappointed” when he first saw the Ibiza video, recorded in 2017.
