In the German Hanseatic city of Bremen, a seven-year-old boy was found dead in an apartment in the city center. The child’s father was arrested with serious injuries. He is under strong suspicion.
As German media report, the boy was found dead on Sunday night. Although resuscitation measures were immediately taken, the child died on the spot.
Father injured himself
The child’s 46-year-old father is under strong suspicion. According to ‘Bild’ he first killed his son and then inflicted the wounds himself.
An autopsy has been ordered and the investigation is ongoing. The evaluation of the seized traces is ongoing and witnesses are still being interviewed. Family members are cared for by crisis intervention teams.
