There is great excitement in Tyrol! A man probably tried to kidnap a 9-year-old girl in Wattens on Tuesday evening. But the child managed to escape. The police are alerted. However, a search turned up nothing.
It is every parent’s nightmare: around 6:15 p.m. the student was allegedly held by an unknown man in a parking lot in Wattens on Dr.-Karl-Stainer-Straße and dragged to the exit of the parking lot.
When the girl screamed for help, the man let go of the child and fled towards Bahnhofstrasse. “A search conducted immediately after the report, as well as immediate investigations and interviews, have so far been negative,” police said.
The police are asking for information
The only thing known about the unknown person is that he was said to have been wearing blue and white Nike sneakers. Witnesses of the incident are requested to contact PI Wattens (tel. 059133/7128).
