Two young people (15 and 16 years old) were injured in a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle on Friday evening in Fürstenfeld (Styria).
Shortly after 6 p.m A 47-year-old from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district was driving his car on the municipal road to Altenmarkt. The driver stopped his vehicle to reverse into the driveway. At the same time, a 15-year-old was driving in that direction on his moped.
Young people crash into cars
A collision occurred in which the moped rider possibly hit the left front of the car at unreduced speed. The 15-year-old and his 16-year-old friend, who were sitting next to each other, fell. While the 15-year-old was flown to the Graz children’s clinic by the Christophorus 16 rescue helicopter with serious injuries, the 16-year-old was taken to the LKH Fürstenfeld with minor injuries. The car driver was uninjured.
