A woman was arrested in a shopping center in Vienna-Donaustadt on Saturday morning. In the detention area, the 35-year-old attacked several officers and injured two of them. The woman then went to prison.
The 35-year-old wanted to enter the mall around 10 a.m. despite the stay-at-home order. A guard recognized the woman and refused her entry. The woman then threatened to kill the employee and spat in his face.
Completely panicked in the detention area
Witnesses saw the incident and alerted the police. The officers temporarily arrested the 35-year-old and took him to the detention area. There the woman suddenly attacked the police officers and injured two of them. They had to stop working and receive outpatient treatment in a hospital.
The 35-year-old was taken to a prison on suspicion of attempted resistance to state authority, dangerous threats and serious bodily harm. She refused to testify.
