In the trial of Italy’s former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for bribery, Milan’s prosecutor Tiziana Siciliano Wednesday accused the ex-prime minister of harboring “sex slaves” in his residence. “Berlusconi systematically sweetens his evenings by receiving groups of harem ladies in his house,” Siciliano said in her indictment at the trial in Milan.
“Berlusconi was a man who had the world at his feet, who formed friendships like the one with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is now bringing the world to its knees,” the prosecutor continued. Today, 85-year-old Berlusconi is an “old and sick man” who haunts the lost youth and fears death.
“Bunga bunga parties with legal aftermath”
The party leader of the co-governing Forza Italia, along with 28 others, has to answer for his ‘bunga bunga parties’ with young women, who are more than ten years old. The trial is also known as “Ruby Ter” (Ruby three) in Italy because it is the third trial in a row from the 2010 scandal.
The name goes back to a key person, an escort with the nickname Ruby Rubacuori (Ruby heartthrob). According to ANSA, her ex-partner testified on Wednesday that he never received any money from Berlusconi or his ex-girlfriend. The police accuse him of money laundering. A court in Siena, where Berlusconi was also accused of corruption, acquitted the conservative politician in October 2021.
