Due to an accident, the volunteer fire brigade from Heiligenkreuz am Waasen left for Pirchingberg (Styria) on Sunday, where an abandoned vehicle had to be recovered. The car had previously left the road.
Shortly after 10 a.m., the alarm bells rang at the Heiligenkreuz am Waaseen volunteer fire brigade. For an unknown reason, a car left the road on Pirchingberg and slid into a steep forest.
When the fire brigade arrived, there were no people left in the vehicle, Commander Patrick Pichler reported. The accident and the abandoned car were eventually recovered using a winch and a shunt roller.
