A teacher was killed and two people seriously injured in a knife attack at a school in France on Friday morning. The attacker was caught.
According to Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, the attack took place at the Gambetta secondary school in the center of the city of Arras, north of Lille.
Perpetrator shouted “Allahu Akbar”
As police told AFP news agency, the attacker – a former student of the institution – shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.
The broadcaster said the man murdered was a French teacher, while a sports teacher was also stabbed and injured, the BBC reported. The situation is now under control again.
