On Friday morning there was a wild chase with the police in Vienna-Donaustadt after an alcoholic driver (63) drove in winding lines. He had previously avoided several traffic lights.
Observant witnesses observed the 63-year-old as he continued his wild ride despite several accidents. When the police officers gave clear signals to the stricken car to stop, the alcoholic driver pressed the accelerator again and tried to escape.
The police were in the way
Only due to a backlog, the police managed to stop the car by leaving the officers with the patrol car in front of the car. According to police, the 63-year-old driver showed clear signs of intoxication, but refused the breath test.
His driver’s license was provisionally confiscated on the spot. The 63-year-old has been reported several times. Fortunately, there are no injuries.
