“Iran’s foreign policy is based on defending our interests and security. We will support the Palestinian cause, but at the same time we could be talking about a situation that has gotten out of hand. In that case, Iran would give a response that any aggressor could regret.”
The Iranian Ambassador to Spain, Reza Zabidwas interviewed this Thursday in the program “Boulevard” on Radio Euskadi, where he analyzed the situation they are currently experiencing in the Gaza Strip.
Asked whether Iran will support Palestine, he replied: “Iran’s foreign policy is based on defense of our interests and security. Naturally we will support the Palestinian causebut at the same time we can talk about a situation that has gotten out of hand. In that case, Iran would respond every aggressor could repent“.
After recalling that ten days have passed since the humanitarian tragedy that shook the Gaza Strip, he pointed out that there is light at the end of the tunnel, even if it is “not a strong light.”
