An Afghan woman (29) was stopped by the police for driving unsafely through Salzburg-Maxglan. During the check it turned out that she did not have a driver’s license. Her reason: “I wanted to practice for my driver’s license.”
On Sunday evening around 9:30 p.m., police stopped a car that was driving unsafely through Maxglan. The driver (29) from Afghanistan could not show the officers a driver’s license. She told officials that she was currently taking the course for this. And she drives at night and practices for the practical test because there is less traffic and it is less dangerous.
When asked, the police announced that she would be fined and reported for driving without a valid driver’s license. The responsible authority decides how much to pay.
