Another incident is said to have taken place in Vomp in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz, where strange men approached children. The police have started an investigation, but the mother of a seven-year-old is still upset: the word ‘panic mom’ is said to have been used.
For many it is the ultimate horror scenario; the ‘Krone’ reported several times in recent weeks about similar cases. Now the nightmare for Mrs. B. and her seven-year-old daughter in Vomp has become reality: “She and a neighbor boy of the same age were playing in front of the house. A man got out of a car and tried to lure the children with sweets,” says B. A second man – both wearing face masks – was in the black bus.
The children’s statements are consistent
The girl and boy fled into the house. The police who had been informed questioned her. “Even though they haven’t seen each other since, they tell the same story,” claims Ms B.
When asked, the responsible Schwaz police confirmed that the statements were consistent: only the suspected masks were more likely a scarf. A search proved fruitless. “If we don’t find anything locally or in the wider area, our hands will soon be tied,” they complained.
Accusation: Mother is one „Panic mom“
A few days later, Mrs. B. went to the police again. “I wanted more warnings,” she explains. The word ‘panic mother’ was mentioned. The Schwaz police station could neither confirm nor deny the allegation. Every complaint is taken seriously and investigated.
Time is crucial for the police
This was also confirmed by the police press service, which had an important tip: “The time factor is important in an incident like this. Therefore, the first step should be to go to the police and not post on social media first. This way we can start a search as quickly as possible. Otherwise it will be difficult to find out exactly who saw what.”
