A dispute in a workers’ home in Kühtai (Imst district) probably got completely out of hand on Saturday evening. A Croat (43) injured a 22-year-old Austrian in the face with a kitchen knife. This ended in the hospital.
It must have been a cheerful evening, which must have escalated completely around 1:30 am on Saturday in the workers’ quarters. After an argument between the Croat and the local population, the 43-year-old must have completely lost his nerve and attacked his opponent with a kitchen knife.
Suffered serious facial injuries
He grabbed it from a table and inflicted a serious cut on the 22-year-old’s face. The injured local was taken to Hall State Hospital after receiving first aid. The Croat is reported to the Innsbruck public prosecutor’s office.
