On Friday around 5 p.m., a traffic accident with property damage occurred while overtaking on Bahnhofstrasse in Gmunden. One of the people involved in the accident, a 65-year-old from Laakirchen, quickly left the scene after the second person involved, a 49-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district, asked him about the smell of alcohol on his breath. The hit-and-run driver was located around 6 p.m.

He also had no driver’s license
An alcohol test showed a value of 2.6 per mille. In addition to being under the influence of alcohol, it turned out that he does not have a driver’s license, as it has already been revoked. He is reported administratively several times.
