A robbery is said to have taken place in a skate park in the Danube city on Wednesday around 7 p.m. A 16-year-old boy was beaten up by strangers. His smart watch and music box were also stolen. There is still no trace of the perpetrators; they are said to have fled into the adjacent forest.
The victim was first hit in the face, after which the perpetrators allegedly took his smartwatch and music box. According to the 16-year-old, one of the unknown suspects had a pocket knife with him.
Search for perpetrators without success
After the robbery, the suspects allegedly fled into the woods. “Based on these facts, the police helicopter and officers from the police dog unit were called in to search the forest,” the director announced on Thursday. However, the search for the unknown persons failed.
The victim also had to be taken to hospital with injuries. The investigation is still ongoing.
