The terrible traffic accident claimed the life of a 24-year-old from Großraming on Friday morning. The young woman was driving on the B115 towards Steyr when she crossed into the opposite lane at a bend in the municipality of Garsten. There she collided without braking with the oncoming minibus of a 31-year-old from Lower Austria.
Died at the scene of the accident
All help came too late for the 24-year-old; the emergency doctor could only declare her dead. It is still unclear why the young driver ended up in the opposite lane in morning traffic. The 31-year-old also suffered injuries and was taken to Steyr Hospital.
