A mysterious accident took place on the L87 in the municipality of Nenzing in Vorarlberg on Sunday. A 26-year-old and his companion attempted to hitch a ride to get a lift. The man was hit by a car and injured. Now there is a bad suspicion in the room.
On Sunday around 4.45 am, a 26-year-old man from Bludesch and his companion walked into Nenzing on the L87 in the direction of Bludesch. Both tried to stop approaching vehicles with hand signals by extending their left hands.
Deliberately targeting the couple
According to the 26-year-old, one of the drivers deliberately steered his car — reportedly a white Dodge RAM pickup truck — toward the couple, touching the outstretched left hand. The 26-year-old fell as a result, injured his left shoulder and had to be admitted to the state hospital in Feldkirch.
