Vienna’s 19th district – especially Heiligenstädter Straße – is increasingly becoming the focus of madness and the so-called roadrunner scene. Another very serious incident occurred on Saturday evening in the Dittes-Hof area, with serious damage to the sheet metal and one minor injury.
Around 1 a.m., a 23-year-old driver from the Währinger Belt turned onto Heiligenstädter Straße, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into two parked cars and two motorcycles.
After a large contingent of emergency services secured the accident scene and rescued the driver, who was injured in the leg, from the vehicle, the passenger involved emphatically emphasized his friend’s innocence. He stated that they were pushed away by an unknown vehicle that was traveling at excessive speed.
According to the police, the investigation into the questionable case has not yet been completed and an investigation is ongoing. However, it becomes clearer when a second crash takes place in the immediate vicinity at night. This is only material damage. Those involved were supported in completing the accident report, it is said.
