An 18-year-old test driver’s license holder drove too fast on a municipal road in Klagenfurt on Tuesday evening. A collision occurred with the car of a woman from Klagenfurt. Five injured people had to be taken to hospitals.
Instead of 30, the 18-year-old raced his car at 80 km/h on the municipal road in Klagenfurt and collided with the car of a 51-year-old woman from Klagenfurt who was turning left. The woman’s car was also dragged several meters. Both the drivers and the three other occupants of the test driver’s license holder’s car suffered injuries of an unknown nature in the accident.
After initial medical treatment, all five people were taken by rescuers to the accident hospital and Klagenfurt clinic. The breath test yielded a negative result for both drivers. The heavily damaged vehicles had to be towed away.
