The mountain railway employee sat on the skidoo at the edge of piste 44. He rode uphill and placed marking posts at regular intervals. This is what happened: the vehicle began to slide, turned perpendicular to the runway, and then overturned.

The skidoo rolled over the handlebars at the level of the pelvis and legs. As a result, the man suffered serious injuries. However, he was still able to make the emergency call himself. After first aid, rescuers took the seriously injured man to Zams Hospital. The skidoo came to a stop after a few meters on the slope.
