The deceased woman’s mobile subscription was not so easy to cancel. Despite the confirmation, the widower received a reminder months later. But the “Krone” could help now.
A father of two from Middle Lower Austria reacted with great anger and even more incomprehension to a letter from a debt collection agency. He demanded 190 euros because since the death of his wife at the beginning of this year her mobile phone account can no longer be debited. The widower had long since canceled the contract—or so he thought. Despite the accompanying confirmation, the letter landed in his letterbox four months later. The claim is a multiple of the outstanding payments.
Despite phone call new bill
So the guy called the provider Bob. “The employee apologized and said they would fix the issue. You can see the cell phone was no longer used,” he said. But that didn’t happen. Instead, another bill came — noting that the contract would last until 2023.
Wrong number ended
Seeing no way out, the customer turned to “Krone”. Look at this: a day later the problem was over. According to parent company A1, another song has been canceled due to the same name. The amount already paid will be refunded.
