Climate change has already struck, especially in Africa. Merciless and drastic for the residents. Since 1960, the area of Lake Chad has decreased by 90 percent. If the lake dries up completely, more than 10.7 million people will be displaced. A new wave of refugees is threatening. To prevent the worst scenario, a warming of the Earth’s atmosphere by more than two degrees, the UN Climate Summit was held in Berlin in 1995.
