A woman (62) allegedly threatened her 53-year-old partner with a kitchen knife in an apartment in Vienna-Floridsdorf while under the influence of alcohol on Monday around 7:15 p.m. She is accused of threatening him with death. The police had to intervene.
Police officers from the Hermann-Bahr-Straße police station arrested the 62-year-old on Monday evening. Fortunately, her partner managed to take the suspect’s gun and alert the emergency services.
Alcohol consumption is said to have been the reason for the argument
The woman is no longer allowed to approach the man. An entry ban and a temporary weapons ban were also issued against them. The woman was drunk during the incident, which may have caused the argument between the two. Officials announced this on Tuesday. The 62-year-old’s blood alcohol level turned out to be 1.28 per mille.
