Unfortunately, on Saturday afternoon, the Ennstalbundesstraße once again lived up to its reputation as one of the most accident-prone roads in Styria: a 19-year-old from the Waidhofen/Ybbs district (Lower Austria) was in the Liezen urban area on his way to Graz around 3:40 p.m.
Passenger only slightly injured
For unknown reasons, he left the road and crashed into a bridge railing. The young man suffered serious injuries – despite immediate rescue measures, he died at the scene of the accident. His 17-year-old passenger suffered only minor injuries and was transported to LKH Rottenmann.
