Drug investigators in Lower Austria have now been able to investigate two suspected serial dealers. The route leads to the spa town of Baden.
A man (50) from Nigeria appears to have started a flourishing drug trade in Lower Austria and Vienna. Officials from the Baden drug group have been intensively investigating the issue for some time.
Provisionally arrested
Thanks to the extensive investigation, the 50-year-old was eventually caught red-handed selling narcotics in Vienna on December 13 and provisionally arrested. Mobile phones and cash were seized from the suspect. It was also the “last stop” for the 32-year-old from the spa. According to the police, 800 grams of heroin and 50 grams of cocaine were sold.
Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man from Slovakia was apparently looking for valuable prey around train stations in Lower Austria. Recently, the initially unknown perpetrator broke the lock of a bicycle in front of the Gänserndorf train station. However, the stolen bicycle was subsequently located in Pressburg (SK) via radio direction finding in the evening hours. Officers from the Bratislava Police seized the bicycle and identified the 36-year-old as a suspected thief. Further investigations are underway.
