The three-year-old fell from the upstairs window of the home around 6:15 p.m. Police said the child’s father was in the living room at the time of the accident when he suddenly heard a muffled noise.
According to the current state of the investigation, the boy may have first climbed onto a windowsill and then leaned against the screen when the window was open. It broke and the child fell several meters down.
Bub was approachable
The professional rescue service of Vienna took over the care of the seriously injured three-year-old. The child would respond. It was flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter.
