On Christmas Day, a traffic accident occurred in Bad Gastein (Salzburg) in which two people were seriously injured. A 20-year-old tourist lost control of her vehicle.
A 20-year-old Czech woman lost control of her vehicle in a right bend and subsequently collided head-on with the oncoming car of a 50-year-old woman from Pongau.
Both drivers injured
Both drivers were injured and had to be freed from their vehicle by the volunteer fire brigade using rescue scissors.
The injured were then taken to the Schwarzach Clinic and the Salzburg Accident Hospital with the rescue helicopters “Alpin Heli 6” and “Martin 6”. Alcohol tests were negative.
