The Iberia ground handling strike will cause the cancellation of 444 flights and affect more than 45,600 travelers. The strike has been declared for days January 5, 6, 7 and 8 by the CCOO, UGT and USO unions and will affect flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum.
The airline has offered its customers the opportunity to do this change flight dates or request a refund of the amounts to be able to move or to look for alternatives during their trip.
In concrete terms, the strike on ground handling services will result in the cancellation of 270 flights of the Iberia company, 64 of Iberia Express and 110 of Air Nostrum. The company has indicated that affected travelers will be informed “in the coming days” about the possibilities of relocation to other flights.
