A dog hater is currently causing mischief in the Bregenzerwald community of Egg (Vorarlberg). On the popular walking and hiking trail at Fluh 1290, he placed a piece of meat about 5 by 3 centimeters in size, prepared with a thumbtack. A dog can be stopped from consuming the bait at the last minute.
The four-legged friend already had the piece of meat that could have cost him his life in his mouth. The owner courageously intervened and snatched the bait from the dog.

The dog owner then took the evidence to Egg police, who further examined the bait. The board is now looking for the perpetrator or witnesses who can provide information about the sneak attack on the four-legged friends.
