Since Sunday, Vienna police have been looking for an unknown person who allegedly robbed a lottery office near Floridsdorf train station around 4:30 p.m. According to initial reports, the man had a firearm with him.
An unknown man is said to have handed in a lottery ticket at the acceptance point. When the employee turned around, the suspect suddenly pulled out a gun. According to police, it was probably a gun. The stranger threatened the employee and demanded money.
An immediate search turned up nothing
After handing over the money he demanded, he fled through the corridor in the direction of Am Spitz. An immediate search by officers turned up nothing. Fortunately, the employee was not injured in the incident.
