Major alarm Wednesday morning in Villach: unknown perpetrators fired a total of nine shots from a moving minibus in front of the Rohr barracks. The police came out in a large contingent.
Shock for a guard in Villach: The passenger of a black minibus fired a total of nine shots out of the window directly in front of the Rohr barracks on Seebacher Allee. Military police immediately arrived on the scene and eventually began chasing the car. However, the officers lost sight of the car as they fled towards the city center.
No danger to passers-by
As investigators determined based on the shell casings recovered at the crime scene, the weapon was “just” an empty pistol that the fugitives used to fire into the air. So there was no danger to passers-by. The large-scale manhunt for the unknown perpetrator duo is in full swing.
