An artist died on Tuesday evening during a festive dinner show in Stuttgart. The 32-year-old artist slipped on a pole and fell about six meters to a wooden floor, a spokesperson for the organizer said. The man is in hospital and is responsive.
There was initially no evidence of broken bones. The accident happened on Tuesday around 10:30 PM in a tent in the German city of Stuttgart. The 32-year-old initially remained motionless after his fall. His colleagues took him backstage and alerted the rescue team, who took the artist to the hospital.
Performance canceled, there was still dessert
The artistic performances were then stopped and dessert was brought to the approximately 350 guests. According to the organizer, several courses will be served during the dinner show. In between there are artistic, musical and comedic acts.
The cause of the artist’s accident was not yet clear on Wednesday. According to the spokesperson, there were no indications that the pole was wet or slippery.
