An oil refinery in Russia’s Black Sea port of Tuape caught fire on Thursday morning. According to Russian media, a Ukrainian drone attacked the facility – an insider from Kiev’s secret service agrees.
The locals filmed the fire and got very excited: “It’s burning, oh my God, oh my God!” a woman can be heard in the video (see above). The fire was extinguished after a few hours. No one was injured.
There was no official information about the cause in Russia. However, some Russian media claimed that a Ukrainian drone strike caused the fire – as has been the case several times in the past.
Insider: There will be more attacks
According to an insider, the Ukrainian secret service SBU actually attacked the oil refinery in Tuapse in the Krasnodar Territory with drones. There will also be more such attacks on facilities that produce fuel for the Russian military, the insider told Reuters.
“The SBU strikes deep into the Russian Federation and continues to attack facilities that are not only important to the Russian economy but also provide fuel for enemy forces,” the source said.
